Windows 1.0x

From OS-tans.moe Wiki

Windows 1.0x is a series of graphical operating systems developed by Microsoft. It was released in 1985 as a successor to MS-DOS. Windows 1.0x introduced a number of new features, including overlapping windows, a more user-friendly interface, and support for 16-bit colour.

The "x" in Windows 1.0x denotes the various versions that followed the initial release, including Windows 1.01, Windows 1.02, Windows 1.03 and Windows 1.04. These versions brought incremental improvements to the graphical user interface and multitasking capabilities introduced in Windows 1.0.

Windows 1.0x maintained compatibility with MS-DOS and continued to rely on it as the foundation for running applications.
