Mac OS 7
Mac OS 7 is an operating system released by Apple on May 13, 1991. It was originally named System 7 however the name "Mac OS" debuted on System 7.5.1's boot screen, and the system was officially renamed since Mac OS 7.6 in 1997.
It is the successor to System Software 6.
It is the seventh major release of Apple’s classic Mac OS operating system which was succeeded by Mac OS 8. Mac OS 7 was promoted by Apple as a significant upgrade from its predecessor, introducing features such as virtual memory, personal file sharing, QuickTime, QuickDraw 3D, and an improved user interface.
