11-tan (Japanese: 11たん, 11-tan, Chinese: 11娘, 11-niang: "11-girl" in English) is an OS-tan that personifies Windows 11.
Character
According to depictions of her character in China, 11-tan is depicted as a girl who can be mischievous prankster from time to time and is interested in beauty, made obvious when she has a lot of clothes in a warehouse.
She has the ability to "merge" with Android-tans and Linux-tans, possibly because of the Windows Subsystem for Android, which allows Android Apps, and improvements of Windows Subsystem for Linux.
11-tan sometimes has a case of miscommunication, sometimes slipping up to speak in her native English, for example, after you set Windows 11 up for the first time, she will say "Good things are coming!" she also can integrate the Android-tans and is a fast runner, yet slow to open folders (before 22H2)

11-tan used to dislike AMD-tan, but later relationships warmed up. She is a keen collector of old object and has a stash of previous Windows version's iconography. she however, fond of forcible sharing her favorite things such as her storeroom (widgets) and clothes (mica theme)
She has good relations with Microsoft Surface-tan and the Windows Mobile-tans, and Edge-tan absolutely is 11-tan's favorite.
Design
Her design debuted on September 1st, 2021.
11-tan has long, Link Water or baby blue grey hair, and blue eyes. She wears a mostly blue dress with long sleeves, and long white socks. She also wears a Windows 11 logo hair accessory.
According to the Chinese OS-tan communnity, since Microsoft started to have positive thoughts of Apple, they made her wardrobe look like the Macs.
Trivia
- Due to the popularity of Madobe Family, and because this version of 11-tan is the most popular version, 11-tan is seldom called Ichika Madobe by some fans. However, the name is neither endorsed by Microsoft Japan/Windows Navi+ nor the original designer Karv, and she is not part of the official Madobe Family.
- The name comes from a poll made by user Win102011 on r/OStan[3]. Ichika Madobe was one of the options among the three proposed names by Win102011 and received the most votes. The name then somehow made it. However, the account has since then been suspended, and the poll is no longer viewable.
- 11-tan has a slightly older variant made by KU39 with glasses called Kokoro Madobe (窓辺こころ) which can be seen on BiliBili and Twitter/X.
