Masaki "Mac" Ryugou is the catchall personification of Apple Macintosh line of computers and classic Mac OSes, beginning with the original Macintosh 128K launched on January 24, 1984, and played a pivotal role in establishing desktop publishing as a general office function. It was famous for its “1984” launch commercial. Two days after "1984" aired, the Macintosh went on sale, and came bundled with two applications designed to show off its interface: MacWrite and MacPaint. The Macintosh was the first successful mass-market all-in-one desktop personal computer with a graphical user interface, built-in screen, and mouse.

History

Mac was designed by SpacePuffer and debuted on the web in February 6, 2023, however he debuted on this site on April 12, 2023.

Character

Mac is Lisa's charismatic younger brother who is well-loved by the Prismage's Admins. He is a young artist with a particular talent for design, and passionate about aesthetics. He takes an active role in his work and is not afraid to showcase his skills to others, compared to her sister who has her head in the clouds. However, his emotional and individualistic nature can make him quick to get aggressive if someone tries to devalue his capabilities, especially people who don't seem to "get" his ideas, though over time Mac learns to accept different perspectives.

Mac loves attention and wants his artworks to be known by people, plus he values having a unique, creative vision. His artworks incorporate a lot of patterns and textures with as little colors as possible, which means his artworks tend to be monochromatic.
